Spreadsheet

The spreadsheet is the source of truth. It can be an Excel workbook, a CSV file, or a Google Sheet. Each row represents one record; each column is a field.

Dataset

When you upload or connect a spreadsheet, Sheetavo creates a dataset. The dataset keeps the parsed rows, column types, and metadata used for dashboards and filters.

Dashboard

A dashboard is a collection of views linked to a dataset. It includes layout information, filters, and presentation settings.

View

A view is a single chart, KPI card group, table, or AI insights panel inside a dashboard. Views are configured to use specific columns and measures from the dataset.

AI insights

AI insights are generated summaries, anomalies, and recommendations based on the dataset and dashboard views. They are optional and can be refreshed when data changes.
